CFD introduced solving simulations using secure Cloud servers in the 2014 release (introduced as Autodesk® Sim 360™ Pro at the time). There has been one general update to solving that should not affect most users. Other user interface improvements include improved window and font sizing, and added tooltips for Solar Windows and Solar Walls. Meshing stability has also been improved to mitigate risk of failure related to extrusion meshing, seen in past releases. New dual monitor support provides a stable multi-screen experience to expand your workspace. The 2021 version has improved overall stability, such as during the creation of multiple particle traces. Direct feedback from CFD users over the past two years through forum posts, technical support cases, and general discussions with customers, has lead to numerous usability improvements and enhancements on the solvers and user interface.Īlthough the surface appears the same as the 2019 release, you’ll definitely notice improved stability, usability, and reliability of your CFD simulations and results. With the same powerful simulation tools as past releases, the Autodesk CFD 2021 developers identified the primary focus for this release is a focus on the users. On December 8, 2020, the latest release of Autodesk CFD became available for subscribers!
